Looks like mine is scheduled to be delivered on Friday. I'll install it after work and be sure to try and take a couple pictures and videos along the way. Can't wait!

Just got my hatch axleback with 4" mufflers, single-wall, non-staggered tips. I forgot to take some pictures before I installed it, but it looks pretty much like the one a couple posts above this.
So far I love it. The only thing I would change is that maybe the 4" mufflers are just bit loud for me nowadays. Maybe I'm getting old, but I can deal with it. Cold start is LOUD in my parking garage, but it definitely gets quieter once it warms up. I don't get the low RPM drone anymore while warming up my car in the morning. It sounds loud, deep, and aggressive while accelerating. It isn't much louder than stock while cruising, but you can definitely tell it's got a deeper rumble. All in all, I'd say it was a good purchase. It took awhile to get it, but it's a quality piece and in the future I'd buy from Nameless again. Thanks again to Jason, John, and the rest of the guys! EDIT: I should add that I also ordered 4 exhaust bushings, in case anyone was curious. Last edited by veelad; 06-20-2012 at 09:25 PM. |

Does anyone have a catless DP with 3" mid-pipe (none Nameless) along with these NP Axlebacks, whether it be the deletes or the 4" mufflers. I was wondering if you get any raspyness from it especially at boost? I am considering getting the 3.5 stag single wall with 4" muffler and wanted to make sure that these clean up the tone and raspyness due to the already free flowing catless DP because my current mufflers are cheap and sound god awful raspy at boost. Putting the stock mufflers on my aftermarket exhaust sounds great but hinders performance and are not as loud as I'd like and these seem to be a great alternative to the crappy mufflers that came with my current aftermarket exhaust.

Well I have a full 3" setup that tapers to 2.25" at the Y. Yesterday I took off my mufflers to test what it sounded like without. It was loud and dirty but not raspy so I ordered the 4" axleback.
The exhaust escaping underneath the car instead of the rear might account for the dirty sound so I'm hoping that my current setup with the 4" axlebacks will be the ticket. Id rather have dirty than raspy but it was pretty loud under low loads. I'll post pictures/video here once I get them in. |
