i'd recommend Satoru Speed & Fabrication in Elkton, MD.... but hopefully someone knows of a place closer to you.

Why not just finish swapping all the STi stuff into the car. Merge the harness and use a STi ecu.

You should really look at adding some tire to that rim before using it.

Just f'n with ya bud. Insurance is a killer. Not many shop owners are going to let you just use their lifts unless you have a very close friend that has a very close friend that owns one... but yea, springs are a headache. Some dumb hillbilly around my area wasn't using a spring compressor & it shot him in the head & killed him.

I vaguely remember back in 04 i think it was that there was a place in MD that was DIY garage with lifts, but not sure if it was on a base. I'll text a buddy of mine that used to use it to see if its still there.

I know you were. And that's what I'm hoping for: some guy who knows a guy. I know I can't walk into a garage and put a halt to their business. I'm doing springs, brakes, lines and whatnot in one sweep, so it would be easy on my young back.

Er.. never mind. That garage is at Andrews AFB in Prince George's County, Maryland.

If you have any military friends you can use Aberdeen proving grounds, or Dover afb.
