This turbo can make more power but we where limited by a few parts on the car. namely the stock turbo inlet.

Thanks again guys! I'll be up for some fine tuning with a new inlet pipe in September!

Looks like torque peak is around 4700-4800 not 4500 like you listed. Any reason you didn't pull to redline?

Otherwise looks about right for this turbo. I've never been a fan of how laggy these are considering the power they make.

Thanks

+1. SR55 = power of a good 20G with the spool of a GT35R. Not a good combo in my book

Personally, I like the turbo. The power is there when I want it.

i have an aps sr55 for sale if anyone wants one. going with a rotated setup. but yeah your numbers are a bit on the low side. 21 psi shouldve still been around 380ish on a dynojet. get rid of that inlet and retune!

Yeah.. Horrible turbo.. Super late spool. Crappy power. Any Good 20G with 8cm will come on a grand faster and make the same power.

Well it came on the car when i got it so it stays until it goes out.

The original tune that came with the car boasted 375 whp on 93 @ 17psi and 430 whp on 116 at 21psi. If i had a scanner, i'd post those charts. I had the car re tuned for "get to work" driving.

357 is fun for getting to work, but if i want more power i just turn to the 300zx in my garage.

You should trade me for my FP20G with the 8cm housing i you want a DD turbo. Well if my trade for another SR55 falls through. :P I am going to call eric to see what he thinks about the SR55. I have what you u have plus, gruppe S UEL ehaust manifold, helix UP, Gimmick inlet, APS 70mm CAI, APS TMIC, and will be running E85.
