I'm still waiting for it to be available closer to me on the MA NH boarder than Boston.

Wait.. you arent a rocket scientist like everyone else on here? haha my attempt at sarcasm..

Anyways, E85 is 85% ethanol, vs. regular gasoline which is now 10% ethanol. Summed up E85 gives you more horsepower when tuned. Since more of it is used in combustion, it has a better cooling affect in the combustion chamber, and allows for higher boost and ignition advance.

Bad part is ethanol only stays "good" for a few weeks, gives you worse gas mileage, and is corrosive to the fuel system in long term conditions. And you need massive injectors.

Either way, Im still looking forward to seeing more of it

dont forget the fact that you need to run nearly twice as much e85 vs. 93. that means you need a fuel system that will support such a high demand for fuel. its an expensive fuel to run in a daily (for those considering it). the fuel itself is less expensive than 89, but the fuel system requirements and the demand for fuel means you are going to spend just as much, if not more to run e-85.

that said, when used properly with the correct supporting mods it helps in turning out some great numbers.

teh beater is going E85 woot.

most setups youll end up at about 200 miles to a tank of e85 or so, and you definitely need some serious fuel supply capabilities.

Guess I just need to stay within return trip difference of seekonk or wicked
