Current center console with color modded VDO clock. The VDO clock has a nice black shield on the inside to prevent washout of the gauge. The prosports don't and a lot of light reflects around the gauge face. I think the next time I open these up I'll make a similar shield for them.

Thru the dial LED...they also have a "ES" series that looks like it matches the STi cluster.

Yeah post some pics as soon as you do! I have the same gauge pod with a black painted piece of Aluminum so there isn't a large hole there (since I have one gauge)

I'd take a better pic but this is what my car looked like last time I saw it

Here's an update as I have new gauges now. I have MadDad's V2 Rx series gauges. From left to right EGT, Boost, Oil Pressure, Oil Temp, and a placeholder. In an autometer dash pod and ATI clock pod.

On startup

^^^Yours looks eerily similar to mine except I replaced my Madads with Defi's.

Really? I wish that Defi still made their gauges in green. I'm pretty happy with my MadDad's though.

Here's mine, complete with the knocklite. The Defi's were Rocket Rally leftovers and then I ordered the EGT from egauges.com or something like that. It was backordered but I waited 2 months and eventually got one.

Put them in quick last night, still gatta run the oil pressure stuff.
Autometer GS....It's brighter than the stock gauges, so I just ordered the
Autometer LED Dimmer Switch.
Crap pix, got back home around 2am from my shop-
Will take better pix when the dimmer gets here.

Here's a writeup I did:
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1711978

You can see it off to the right side in this pic:

What it's a thin walled plastic cylinder with a small lip. Once the guts are placed inside the shield is dropped in, the plastic face put on top of that, and then the metal ring is crimped around the outside. It blocks light coming around the gauge face so you don't get the halo effect.

Black: Gauge Body
Blue: Gauge Guts
Red: Shield
Green: Plastic Cover
Purple: Metal trim ring
Yellow: Light leaking around gauge face

I like the s204 HVAC knobs, is there a more convenient place to get them CONUS? Japanparts might take a while.
