Default Advanced driving schools for teens?

Skip Barber has a "Teen Survival" school that teaches higher-limit, more-advanced car control than standard drivers ed.

My daughter won't be 16 until Dec and probably won't take Driver Ed until next Spring. But does anyone else off similar courses at Loudon, Devens, etc?

Tire Rack Teen Survival schools are offered at various autocross locations around New England, they look like an excellent way to learn what they gloss over in driver ed.

I took this course ~8ish years ago: https://centralmasafety.org/advanced-driver-training/

I was happy with it - 2 hours in class and 2 hours on the course and relatively close to you. I was able to get an insurance discount with the certificate at the end of the course.

The CartCT course sounds like a great option that teaches similar skills, is less expensive, and offers a full day of training with "driving champions".

This was my first thought as well. It's run by BMWCCA.

I was searching a couple years ago for my older son. We considered Kart racing for him. I have found when instructing track newbies that former Kart racers have a really good sense of the car and learn really quickly.

I have heard great things from those that have gone through http://www.driveincontrol.org/

Instructors are racers IIRC.

I know Northwest Driving School Las Vegas, Nevada. They are providing drivers ed courses for teens and adults. My younger sister is taking driving and traffic courses from there. She is paying $100 for two hours.
