I tried posting on the original thread but it says it has been closed? Not sure if it got full i doubt it. But If somehow it get's fixed go ahead and ignore this one my bad, if not here's the new "I got bored and did ____ to my car today" Thread.

Finally changed the cabin filter. It's a giant pain in the ass on a legacy.



Also re did my jazzy auxiliary input and hooked it up to the nav screen so we can watch videos in the car now.

Not sure it's ever been done, car has 68k now. Should be done every 15.

Same bro my car washes always go 4-5 hours for a basic theurough 2 bucket wash. Polishing would be another 3 ugh not excited maybe Ill make Aaron do it for my dewalt polisher

Decided to man up and open the transmission.

Thrust plate fell out of the input shaft from what appears as improper assembly. Luckily no major damage was done. Essentially what happened is it left a large space behind 4th gear. So as the shift fork moved the slider towards 4th, instead of meshing with the synchro and engaging, it was just pushing the gear away into the gap left by the thrust plate.





I found the 2 parts of the thrust plate in the case before I even pulled the clusters out of the box. The pieces fell down to the bottom of the transmission case and stuck to the magnetic drain bolt. Had they got tangled up in the gearset it could have been a disaster.





Also need to replace the 5th gear synchro.

Installed the radiator fan, and cut out stuff. Also got a custom ZM Black paint job on my intercooler.

currently have a bad slipping clutch, waiting on my new one to come in so we could only run wastegate pressure sadly

But it sure sounds nice! cant wait to get her new clutch and full tune done!
