Default SD tune issues

I just did a stock retune on my 04 wrx. It's the Cobb tuning SD with full MAF mode enabled. So in essence it's a stock tune.

It idles at 1k rather than 750 and at cold start it sputters unevenly and within 40 seconds revs up to 3k.. Until i tap the throttle and get it working normally... Why does it do this?

Post up your map at the cobbforums (start a post and click on "Go Advanced" and "Manage Attachments") and we can take a look. Did you make any hardware changes to the car (additional mods or other changes) since you last ran on a MAF map? What were you running previously?

Will do.

I haven't changed anything except the clutch that went bad and then threw on a SD tune. I even cleaned the iacv which barely made a difference if any.

It's in full MAF mode currently. Haven't even gotten into hybrid

Also get a memory snapshot (via troubleshooting menu on AccessPORT) when the idle is unusually high. You can post this up at the cobbforums (rename the extension to .rom so it will allow you to post it).

It's pretty much always unusually high on idle. Did you want the cold start 3k idle or a snapshot once it's warmed up and at 1.2k(after I kick the throttle)?

Ill try for both if you'd like
