Ouch, that would pain me to do that! It was bad enough drilling 13 holes in my trunk for the sedan spoiler!

Oh Daamn... but at least the spoiler is an added looks right . Front plates are no good looks to me but I just want the best from it and cops to not hassle me.

No need to drill holes in the bumper. The relocation kit uses the tow hook location. I do however wish the dealer didn't drill holes in the front bumper just to out their advertisement.

Sometimes I don't see who writes what. You think about doing a Perrin or other brand license plate delete plate?

Post pictures if possible.

Thanks...

That's how I did mine.

I actually have the Blazer Fog Light Stage III Kit, which is now discontinued.

I basically did it kind of like that.

The dealer didn't they come pre drilled for the mount from the factory. You can tell this by looking inside the holes. You can see paint on the holes edges so if the dealer drilled them they definitely wouldn't have paint.

MJ Sub - My vote is the second pic, but maybe an inch or two more toward the fog light. I was planning on doing something like this as well, but I don't want to spend $80. My plan was to get the right size bolt, Drill a hole in the head of the bolt, tap in the thread for a smaller bolt to mount the plate bracket, and use the Subaru plate mount (which I already have) with a custom plate delete plate for the middle of the bumper.
If I don't (or can't) drill the hole in the large bolt, I think I can just make a bracket that the large bolt goes through. Total should be less than $20. If I do it, I will make a tutorial on it.

My reason for doing it is just for looks, since obviously there's no function with our N/A cars. I too hate that in CO we have to have a front plate, but might as well stay legal and make it look better than stock.

No, it's still silver. My buddy at the body shop suggested to paint the silver part white though.

Got mine for 70 bucks and some change shipped on eBay. The guy ran out of stock so he had grimmspeed speed shipped one for the same price.

Gotcha. I think it would look good white. A nice change from plastidip or stock. Either way nice plate mod.

Ok so I got off the phone with Matt from grimmspeed and sent the pictures and measurements for the main shaft. Got the sti and its too long I cut and weld then painted so it won't rust on the weld. They should make these for our cars soon.

I read somewhere on this forum or the 2012 impreza forum that someone replaced the oem air filter with a k&n filter, does anyone know what filter that would be? I cant find it anywhere.

Any panel filter for the 2008-2012 Impreza and Legacy GT will fit. Perrin and Cosworth offer one and I'm sure K&N has one too. I have the Perrin foam filter in mine.

Do you notice better throttle response or anything? The person who i first saw did this for this car claimed better throttle response, can you back that up? Do you have a link to the filter you have?
