What are your wheel and tire specs? Is your car on stock suspension? I've been trying to figure out what my CR Ultimate's are going to look like on my hatch and have been freaking out about too much tire gap.

Wheel and tires are 18X9.5 torques, et +35, Falken FK452 255/40ZR18, STOCK SUSPENSION. As long as you don't put some dopey rubber band tires on there the wheel gap is fine with stock ride height, if you want too much stretch or a 35 series tire on the rim it's gonna look BAD with stock suspension. I am running a performance alignment too, very crucial if your going with a wide wheel and crazy offsets. I had to have my rear fenders rolled too.

Do you happen to know what your alignment specs are? I already bought some 265/35R18s so I guess I'll be having some more tire gap. My wheels are also +38 so that will be slightly different. Did you have to change any parts out to run the more aggressive alignment or does it work with stock parts?

Right on. Thanks man.

I think I'm going to try to do the vinyl because that is what Yakima uses. I've heard the plasti-dip doesn't hold as long as vinyl. Plus... I don't feel like doing 3-4 coats.

I'll play it by ear though and post pics when I do

I can't remember off the top of my head, I actually had the alignment done before I had the wheels installed, but the specs were good for the setup. All stock components were used. +38 will buy you some margin on the fender roll and camber needed to run your setup. Your gonna have a lot more wheel gap than I do though. I would definitely take it to a subie specific shop and have them tell you everything it needs.
