Up in PA it seems to be a quick double-dose of the horn and a wave.

Maybe we should start a super secret Nasioc only wave.....

I do a little upwards nod, having a 2008 not many people notice it at first, but thanks to everyone who waves or nods, its nice to belong to such a nice family haha

I'll give a wave back if someone waves to me. I previously owned a Jeep Wrangler for years, and they all wave at you so I am used to it. However, not too many Subie owners seem to wave in this area.

I gave a peace sign to some younger folks in a 06 WRX today and they actually complimented me on how sleeper my car looks at the stoplight. There's still some good in the world!

I wave, but I've noticed that I only get a wave back if the person's car is somewhat modified. There are a few stock wrx's around here that just give me the blank stare when I wave to them.

damn, overhere most subie owners wave or honk, today on my way to school I saw a yellow bugeye behind me for a while he gets on the next lane and waves at me, I wave back, then as soon as this happens I notice a white 2.5i and some 16 year old driver so we, the bugeye and I wave at him and he gave us both the "who the **** are you guys" stare, priceless

The greatest part is waving at subies when you're not driving a subie. I've been driving my old station wagon around (dead subie ), waving at just about all the subies I see. Oddly enough, I've gotten a couple waves back.

Around where I live, I never see any other "Subaru People", just other people with Subarus. You know, middle aged lesbians in outbacks, old couples in Foresters, and the like. I have tried waving, but I have never received a wave back. Lots of retarded stares though.

I wave, flash the lights if possible.
Typically, it's older folks in their outbacks.
I've happened upon a few younger people,
and they usually look at me really strange till
they realize that I'm in a Subaru too.
