^ no tune required, but you would see gains if you tuned for the TMIC

iirc the stock bpv will hold for a vf. If not modd the stock one, which is free and easy, and it will hold great. I duno who told you you NEED an aftermarket one.....

CAI will not be as loud as SRI. BPV will be louder with either.

I don't know about an '06, but I'm at stage 2 in my 2011 and I feel like the CAI gives me a little more up top. Regardless, I like the sound and the look and pretty much everything about it, so it was well worth the money for me. I think the OP has made it pretty clear he's going for the sound mostly, and he knows what he's getting. I've never understood people on this forum that feel compelled to give "advice" that's neither needed nor asked for. |

Don't get a BOV. The only people that get BOV's are people running upgraded turbos with over 25 psi boost. Or people who want to run rich and blow their motor. Neither apply to you.... I hope

I have a full recirculating same as stock. The stock might do the job with an upgraded turbo like VF48 but I had some bucks in the pocket and I purchased a Greddy RZ BOV.
