Wow - my cc was charged right away, my order update on the website never changes, and no one returns my calls. Is it normal to charge the card right away, and still be waiting 6 weeks?
Please check your PMs, emails and voicemails and let me know what's going on. Thanks |

yeah just double checked everything...i have nothing from Sinister Minister in my PM box at all since 7/30/06. I have no open orders from Massachusetts dating 6 weeks old (since that's where your screen name says you're from)...and not even a name to go by here. Perhaps you did leave a voice mail, but I have countless voicemails from people who leave messages and no phone numbers. Do me a favor and e-mail [email protected] or [email protected] so we can see exactly what the issue is and/or give you your tracking information.

this is a little ridiculous...
anthony -- honestly, man.
if you say you're going to answer your emails, you gotta answer them. if you quote information from tracking, you gotta provide the tracking # to support it. i can't tell if you're just taking us for a ride but it sure seems like it without more information. i've sent you a few emails, waited ~2weeks for my order to be shipped, have been told it's shipped, but no tracking #. order 3603. this is tiring. gabe |

-Bought the Invidia Uppipe/DP combo on 9/9.
-Free shipping for nasioc members and low price for the product. -Received shipment of the DP and all installation gaskets for up/dp on 9/13. -The uppipe is being shipped from Invidia. I am pretty happy with my dealings with MauroMotorsports. I can understand the frustration with the order tracking system though, my shipping item didn't show up until 8PM or so the night before I got my stuff. I emailed several of their available e-mail accounts with an identical message asking if there was an issue with my order and I received a polite message quickly thereafter with my order status. And I am still waiting for my uppipe from Invidia. +1 when I get my uppipe. |

Got a turbo kit and block from them. Took about a week to get all of it (including holiday) When i got the turbo kit perrin didn't ship the wastegate with it. Anthony overnighted the wastegate.
They have some of the best prices on the net. I've been ordering stuff from them for years. |

Order status??
I placed an order two weeks ago for a Helix DP, HKS CBE, Cobb turbo heatshield and some Kartboy Hangers. A day or so later my order status showed that everything except the Helix DP was shipped. Since then I've sent three emails to get my tracking number, none of have been answered. I haven't received any parts yet, so I am left to assume that the online order status is completely bogus information.
I've called multiple times during business hours, but I am unable to get anyone on the phone at all. Before I ordered, I did a google search and found a few positive reviews on the shop. I've since taken a more thorough look and found this thread, and now I am starting to feel very worried about what I'm up against. I see a year's worth of posters complaining of 3-4 month ship times, inabilities to get any customer support or even a voice on the phone except in the most extreme situations, lawyer and BBB threats. I'm thinking, "I didn't sign up for this." Anthony, according to your online order status page, all my parts are in except for the Helix DP. Are you purposefully holding the rest of my order so that you can ship everything together? If so, I will pay the extra shipping so that you can ship what you have now and then ship the DP later if need be. Hoping to see or hear something positive soon, Jordan Last edited by jordan_m; 09-21-2006 at 06:01 PM. |

got it... & Re: Order Status???
got my package -- everything is there. thanks, Anthony.
it seems like the verdict on MauroMotorSports is: if you want your stuff quickly, don't order from them. but they'll send it. calling them is pointless 'cause they don't answer. emailing them is pointless, too, 'cause they don't answer. it seems like sometimes evening listening to them is pointless. however, they do seem to get stuff out, eventually, and the prices are very competitive. |

I order jdm fogs from them on 8/2 and said it would take 4-6 weeks to ship. I emailed them several times on the 5th week to see what the status was and no answer. I called twice and no return phone calls. But just the other day 9 days after my first email i received one from greg saying it would be a little bit longer but did not say how much longer it will be. I emailed him back and i am waiting for a return email. If i dont receive more info on my order this week i will cancel it and take the fee for the cancel and go with a vendor who would be more then happy to have my bussiness. They won my bussiness the first time cuz when i emailed them before i bought the product they were replying almost instantly to them but now that they have my money it seems like they could care less to help their customers.

Updates and phone calls and email replies is all that is needed - basic stuff. Is this like a 2nd part time job, and the owner works @ a job during the day, and then sells parts when getting out of work? I ordered once, and waited 3 months for a Helix Catted D/P, and I only got my refund after bitching about it here, and then editing my comments, because I felt bad about the post I made. YMMV as they say... I then bought it off e-bay used, and the guy had to package the item twice, because the USPS has certain rules about size/dimension, etc, and he ended up wrapping it up in a thick tweed painter's tarp, and I got the item in a total of 10 days instead of 3 months for a new part.

It wouldn't surprise me. I have followed this thread since my poor experience with them - hoping for a day that the feedback changed for the better and that these guys got it together as a business. Unfortunately, many pages later, that has not come... I'm still surprised they get as much business as they do after a feedback thread like this.
It was said best a few posts backs - before they have your money, they are helpful, friendly and responsive - leading you to believe they are an all around great vendor. However, things DRASTICALLY change once the cash leaves your bank account... I hate to waste posts bashing anyone, let alone a vendor - but people have the right to know of dissatisfied customers and the vendor has a responsibility to reevaluate their business practices and eventually heed the advice and dissatisfaction of many of their customers, rather then always take a defensive stance. I am finally happy to say that I expect nothing to change with this vendor and am finally hitting the "unsubscribe" button! |

Hey guys we're still a vendor on this forum, but we're just waiting on our renewal to go through today...so don't jump to any conclusions. Anthony's been a member of this forum since 2001 and I doubt he's going to let a little bad press stop him.
I see a bunch of people upset on here about us, but I noticed a lot of the problem has to do with claims of unanswered e-mails and phone calls. Unfortunately, I'm only in the office now on Tuesday, Wednesday, & Friday since I'm back at school and I'm the only other employee Anthony trusts to help run the business since I'm his brother-in-law. When I'm not there he's running the office alone. That means he runs the phones, e-mails, orders, shipments, and a whole lot more then can be handled alone. But he's done it since 2002 and has only run into problems recently because the business has grown larger then any of us had expected. If you're trying to get in contact with us by phone and noone answers then LEAVE A MESSAGE...if you're leaving a message and do not get a response by phone or e-mail then either you didn't leave a phone number, name, order number, or we couldn't understand you. There are countless times when people call and call and call, but never leave a message...then complain that we never called them back. We have two phone lines right now and if they're both tied up you're going to get an answering machine. Both Anthony and I can also be reached through instant messanger too and we get a whole lot of people sending messages to us daily. E-MAILS - Between Anthony and I on a busy day we receive over 150 e-mails. If you are looking for tracking or an ETA on a shipment then you need to e-mail me at our tracking e-mail address. If you don't get a response in 24hrs then I didn't get the e-mail. Any customers that still have outstanding issues need to contact us. Not through Nasioc, not through this thread, not by PM's, but by e-mail or phone. Our website does not mark products as instock or not instock, but gives a USUAL shipping lead time. The majority of the products we sell ship anywhere from 24-72hrs. There are parts that we typically have instock and some others that need to be drop shipped, but either way you WILL get your products. Any customer on here that has posted a wait time of 3-4 months was waiting for a reason...we do not hold orders this long unless an item is on backorder or takes time to get. For example...I see a lot of guys complaining about Helix catted downpipes and long wait times...YEAH that's very true and infact we had an order with our supplier back in April that didn't reach us until 4 months later, but not only was it late...it was short by 3-4 units! Ask any Helix supplier and they'll tell you they wait a very long time for these products. We've since removed several other products from our website that are simply too much of a headache to stock/sell, but that's still not good enough for some people. I have read this entire thread and noticed there's more people repeating themselves over and over again. Last I checked it's a review thread and customers should post their review and move on. What purpose is there to continually say the same thing over and over again and instigate more negativity. Whether you believe it or not we have a lot of happy customers that do not waste their time with these forums for a reason. Yes it's a good source of information, but personally I can't possibly believe everything I read on here and I think others feel the same. There's always two sides to every story... If there is a problem with an order then chances are we've e-mailed you or tried calling you. We do NOT run any credit cards for orders unless we know that they will ship out within a weeks time or unless we are asked to do otherwise by the customer. We ONLY authorize orders that come in through our website. SPECIAL ORDERS- If you special order a JDM part...like a JDM Foglight kit that 04ASPENWHITE did then we will NOT run your credit card at all. We do NOT have YOUR money. This gives you the option of canceling your order at any time without any charges. There have been too many people that contact us on the 6th week of waiting asking for specific ETA's after being made aware that there are no guarantees. They get upset at us and they cancel the order on us...it's too much hassle for you and for us. In order to bring parts here from Japan we fill a container with as much as possible. Not half way...not a third of the way...but completely. If by the 5th or 6th week since you ordered you don't have your product then it's because our container is not full. This is how timing is everything. If we're about to wrap up a container to ship and you order a week before...then chances are you'll get your products in 2-3 weeks rather then 4-6. It happens and is the nature of the business...if you want the part super fast then order it from Japan directly. If you can wait and want to save a few bucks give us a try. You won't have to pay anything until the product is in the states. Now that I'm done ranting I can get back to work. I shouldn't have to spend time writing this, but I felt that I should help defend/support the company that I've worked with for nearly 2 years. That's my $.02. Any comments or questions feel free to e-mail me [email protected] Greg K. MauroMotorsports 631-451-3996 Last edited by Greg@Mauro; 09-26-2006 at 11:33 AM. |
