anyone got some forester springs/struts that they wanna trade for my 2.5rs springs/struts? I'm getting tired of hearing *scrape* every time I go on the trails.

And my current car on my summer wheels. It's a brighton so no rear sway, rear drum brakes, or tack. I installed legacy rsb and disk brakes in the rear. Wrx brakes in the front. 02 wrx suspension all around w/ stock wrx springs giving it a good little lift. I have 02 wrx wheels w/ winter tires to through on this winter. I also made some tow hooks for this model and was selling them but I don't sell enough to be a vendor. Next up extensive rally bar/ skid plate fabrication. And hopefully a swap in the future. |

Finally since I did start this thread! 04 fxt struts in with 02 wrx rear top hats and old forester rear springs (01?) since I've got an 02 wrx. + camber bolts and 225/55/17's and it runs just about even camber with no rubbing (strut waay closer than the fender by far.) On a wagon too. Pics to come.

I just bought some Hella 500 driving lights and I'm waiting for them to come in they're going on my 93 impreza, uhm...can anyone who's running them tell me how bright they are, because to be honest im expecting them to turn night into day from the reviews i read on the site I bought them from.

The 500s will be brighter than your headlights, but not day into night bright. They're the babies of the lineup.

rallyX this weekend:
I got 4th in class, 26th OA. (#243) Guy I was sharing my car with, since his WRX wagon was up on jackstands (he lent the rally wheels / gravel tires) - #77, 1st in class, 9th OA. My car is cheating on me. |

i run two driving (pencil beams )on the inside aimed above my high beams and two fog 500 on the outside and it fills up really good no trouble with shadows and they are mounted to the push guard so they don't have any bumper bounce. i tried the drilling them directly to the bumper but they would always bounce loose and trying to drive with lights bouncing made me feel woozy. |

durt... love the way your car is setup! have you checked out dirtyimpreza.com? you'd fit right in over there.
i think the 500's make a HUGE difference over stock lighting. they may be the small guys in the Hella line up but they still throw alot of light for what they are. i'd be careful running 100w bulbs in the 500's though. you may crack the glass and/or melt the plastic housings due to the increased head from the 100w bulbs. |
