Just registered. What are the tricky parts of the track that we should watch out for?

Thanks!

Turns 7-8 and turn 11 were the trickiest for me. Before both of those you can carry a lot of speed and corner entrance is very important. There is a dip right before 8a where I found hard braking to be very good as the suspension is loading max weight on the ground.

Yes, rooms should be available now at $70 for Subaru track day participants!

Good question.

We are limiting entries to maximize track time.

Especially on the school side since there is a limited number of instructors available. We initially have 24 slots for the school, we may be able to increase this slighty if there is interest AND we can find additional instructors. Depending on numbers here we will probably have 2 run groups.

The track day has a little more flexibilty for entry numbers, our schedule calls for three run groups with four sessions each run group.

Cheers

For those booking rooms, we do not have a promo code to book online at this time but if you call the Hotel at 1 800 667 7711 and let them know you are coming for the Subaru Track Day at Ridge Motorsports you can reserve your room for $70, this is a great deal these rooms normally run $129 and for those that haven't been there before it is a beautiful facility. We only have a block of 20 rooms at this price and we are expecting them to fill quickly. We will try to get additional rooms if needed but cannot guarantee they will be available.

Also, for those coming Thursday and staying at the hotel or anybody that is local, Little Creek is sponsoring a Subaru Drivers reception with hors d'oeuvres, they are letting us use their upsatirs Skookum Spirit Lounge as a private event.

Info on the resort here: http://www.little-creek.com/

This is specifically for Subarus but there may be a couple of non-soob rally/race cars there specifically for shake down/development.

I have had a lot of people ask about the school vs. the track day. The key to qualifying for the lower cost track day is track driving experience. A school or a racing license is not require but if you have one then you will have track experience. If you don't have a license or school participation but you do have track experience, list that on you bio at registration and you will be good to go.

I've had lots of good questions, please don't hesitate to contact me if you have one.

This Subaru event is now one month away!

Cheers!

Great, look forward to seeing you. I'm hoping we have non registered guests that come out to watch and hang out.

We are also planning to have a "Taste of the Ridge" this will be 4 or 5 parade laps with a pace car for a nominal fee, it will be brisk but not fast if you know what I mean, no helmet required. We are hoping to have this open to anyone and it will take place when the registered drivers are having their lunch break. This is designed for those that can't spend the day or the money but would like to see and drive the track. I'm hoping we might get a few groups to caravan down for this. I will update information as I get it.
