I was there today, the track is AWESOME!! I would suggest you bring some chairs, sunblock, and cash. There was a taco wagon, coffee stand, and burgers & hot dogs.

I've booked out the lapping day, how do I add on some early morning coaching to learn the lines of the track?

Room is booked, we should be down in time to catch the end of the reception that night!!!!

Sounds like there is only 3 rooms booked so far though, if there's complimentary cocktails this could be a good thing

This is the Coaching page: http://ridgeracingschool.com/product-category/coaching/ which is linked to from the event page (http://ridgeracingschool.com/product...-june-29-2012/)

Pretty sure you can buy how much you want and put a note in for the date.

You can also add coaching at the track if you want more and there are available coaches.

Here we go! One week to go! We have a few slots left for the New Driver Training School and a few slots for the High Performance Track Day, if you are thinking of coming out to play now is the time to sign up.

The weather looks like it will be ideal. The weather service is predicting high clouds, no precipitation and mid 70's. Many people that have been to the track this year would have killed for these conditions, many track days have been miserable, with much rain, wind, etc., we are being smiled upon!

I will have a special announcement on Monday, this will be targeted toward those that do not want to commit to the School or Track Day but still want to be part of this historic event!

Talk soon-Cheers!

Does this track have any good spectator locations? I am still breaking in my engine but I would come just to check out the cars and watch.

The flyer doesn't really mention walk ons.

Does anyone who has been there before have any insight?

There are places to park and bring lawn chairs. They will also have food vendors. As far as grandstands, no and the only viewing area is the front straight.

Rain makes you a better driver . Seriously though, learning in the rain is a good thing. Also, lapping in the rain can be a whole different ball of fun! Plus you save your brakes and tires!

Agreed. Same with drivin in the snow. I learned that in a camaro. Now that's a tough job. Haha
