Don't really see anything to give a crap about; nothing special here. If I wanted a small car with no power, I would get a Mazda2, or a Scion XD, or Honda Fit, or Ford Fiesta, or whatever, not a Suzuki.

Its actually a very nice car that's well made and goes quite well. The new power will be nice. It is easily a competitor to the models you listed. Suzuki know how to make cars like this, it's their forte.

I owned a 1989 Swift GTi and that thing was really fun like a go-cart. However it was junk and parts were not common since Suzuki is such a low volume seller. I don't think I would ever own another one again.

I have seen nothing that suggests that the Suzuki will be as reliable or as well built/same or better quality as any of the vehicles that I listed above. They have a generally horrible track record concerning vehicles available in the US.

The dismal dealer network of Suzuki Autos would prevent me from buying a car like this. The few dealers I have been into seriously look like janitor closets. If you can't make a showroom look half decent presentable, what kind of service should I expect when I need something warrantied?
Nevertheless, the Suzuki Kizashi is a very nice looking car. I do wish they succeed. |

I'd like to know where their "power" markets are. I am pretty sure the dealership across the street from us has given up. Haven't seen a new car on the lot in a few weeks. I can think of only one other dealership in this area and it would be a long drive to get to it.
Weird that they can't sell in the states, yet make Subaru look like nothing on the global market. |
