Default 2.5rst

Ok so I'm looking to do a 2.5rst build. First off let me start with the car info. I have a 2005 impreza 2.5rs. I want to build the car for boost and the occasional auto cross. I plan on starting the build by having the block sleeved to help reinforce the walls. My next step is to go with forged pistons and rods and having the crank micro polished. I plan on using a Sti water pump and timing belt and sti thermostat. Possibly a Sti oil pump as well if needed. Other then that that's it for the major components for the bottom end. Now onto the head I plan on getting it ported and polished with a 5 angle valve job. I want to use Crower valves, springs, retainers and valve guides. Now onto the question portion of my post. What would be a good can to run? I was going to go with crower stage 2 272/272 cams to finish off the complete Crower top end but will these work in my 2.5 head and if not what's a good cam to go with and will stock 2.0 cams work? Also I have a parts car with random engine parts and a complete drivetrain from the trans to the diff to axles. It's a 03 wrx. Will these parts work with my 2.5 engine in the car now? I also plan on using the front crossmember for the clearance I need for the turbo set up. Is there any parts I can use from the wrx that will fit on my car now. I have a exhaust manifold, top mount intercooler but I feel like ima have to run a front mount which is ok. Two sets of heads and just little odds and ends stuff. I am almost done paying for it and I want to keep it as my project car and I'll prob just drive my other car while this one is down so I'm not really in a huge hurry to start this. Any other ideas or parts I might need would be great. Also if I plan on just swapping it if I decide to build the 2.0 would all I need to do as far as wiring goes is just swap out the harness and ecu or is there more to it? I have everything i need to go either way. Thanks in advance

You should really read thru this thread http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2401576
and pay particular attention to every post by 'Maxwell Power' and you will realize why sleeving your block and polishing your crank is not a great idea!

I don't know about your mechanical abilities but your technical knowledge dues not even come close to the bare minimum to try and do this. It's like you read a bunch of info about a wrx and then tried to use it for a SOHC 2.5. Fir your own good do not attempt this project!
