Pics will be posted for sure... however we may wait until spring to install it. we've been lucky with mild winters the last couple years here so I think we're due for some. got 2" - 3" overnight last night. Fun drive in on the Blizzaks... until I hit the interstate.
momoney627 - I forwarded your reply on to my friend Chad. He should take care of the transaction from here. Thanks - Jon

Well I installed the suspension yesterday... Had a few hang ups. First off the struts for only having 4000 miles were rather worn.. they could be compressed by hand with some effort... however this could be do to them laying in the cold garage on their side for almost a month now. The stock struts were completely shot... could be compressed easily and they didn't reboud.
There was also only 2 of the top nuts in the boxes. Obviously the KYB top nuts aren't the same size as stock... luckly I had a friend who had two blown KYB's that he discarded, but had kept the top nuts. Glad to see the shorter swaybar brackets in there... I was wondering how that would mess up the rear with the stock brackets and a 2.5" drop. After all that it was great. Looks nice, handles well on 2f/4r. For me it needs more, but it isn't my car. The Tecnomagnizo wheels with 215/60-16 Falken's have a lower offset and rub on the passengar rear fender.. so some rolling will be needed, but not much. I'll post pics soon. I need to get the fenders rolled somewhere and wash this dirty thing. Looks nice otherwise. Momoney.. what wheels did you run with this set-up in the summer and what offset? I was running an 18x7.5 rim with a 45+offset. Struts can go bad if they are lying around?? Sorry about the top nuts I went through it all before I shipped it out but little bolts wouldn't have cought my eye..

nothing really letf of the Forester parts. I have the roof cross bars lying around and the stock cloth seat covers and a weapon-r intake I used for like 1000miles didn't care for it much. I think thats about it. Anyone want this stuff cheap I just want to get rid of it all. I'm starting to amass a **** load of WRX stuff. Picked up another WRX tonight went to look at the 350Z and they traded one in that I overheard them talking about so I asked about it and they said 19700.00 I got them down to 14500 cash so I'll be picking it up tomorrow. Looks like version 8.0 is about to begin. HAHA..

Well the wheels are Technomagnizio 16x7" wheels, not sure which model they are. Mounted on it are some Falken ZEIX 215/60-16 tires... He went with stock rolling diameter, just wider as orginally it wasn't going to be lowered much. This deal was too good to pass.
I investigated the set-up some more and it appears to be rubbing on the struts.. I managed to get it resolved quite well, but there is still a slight occasional rub. I can't do anymore without some camber bolts for the rear. I'm planning to wash it today and take some pics... just need to get my server guy to upload them. Would be nice if the rear sat a bit higher. Handles great on 2/4 though! Rides smooth too. |

Let me guess... it rubs if you make a quick tight turn (ie: U-Turn) especially with passengers / weight in the back...
Mine does that... not so much anymore, but it used to do it alot with the old tires. These new ones are the same size but a different brand, so I think they are a little bit smaller or something... you get used to it. |

Hey Tony,
When I traded the Forester I bought a white WRX wagon..then I picked up w blue 2003 WRX<---short lived car hit a deer going 90mph I guess **** happens. Then Yesterday I picked up a yellow one cheap. I needed a beater car so I thought it would be good. I have a 2002 Forester S got a deal on it so I picked it up. Then I have a few other cars but not subys. My favorite car isn't a suby though I have an EXT which I love hands down better that my white WRX super modded out. But to each his own..haha Mo$ |

Yeah it will fit the 2.5 forester and the RS I'm almost sure 98-2003 don't ask me how to host a pic on here anymore I still can't figure it out.. There is a slight bend at the throttle body then it is strait.. I'll look for a pic somewhere..
