There's also DD tix which aren't limited, I believe.
I'm talking about the Rue D Floyd event at Out of the Park Pizza...rumor has it just 1 per and 1 DD.

Sorry, I was thinking of the anniversary. I'm missing that by a day, as my schedule just doesn't permit to hang around 1 more day.

Picked this up today caus of a twitter post by my local beer store... didn't know it was going to be a big deal. Girl was like we have another case in the back so you can have whats on the shelf... I got one and wow. This thing packs a lot of flavor into each sip and is delicious. Might go back tomorrow and pick up a few more.

Also got some left hand Smoke Jumper to cellar for a bit. Anyone tried it yet?

Shock Top Honey Bourbon Cask Wheat- There's very little "beer" to this. It tastes like straight bourbon and honey. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or not yet. It is certainly unusual. Edit: Now I'm half a bottle in, this is disgusting.

I just finished a good Springtime Ale from a Cincinnati brewery (Mt. Carmel), which I liked a lot and was a nice contrast to the Sierra Nevada that preceded it. I've been broke and drinking cheap wine, so it's nice to get back to some nicer beers. Also I'm pretty drunk.

I have had that. It's good.

Went to Encinitas Ale House last night. Pliny the Elder on tap. Keg blew. Got one pint, but it wasn't the best as it was kind of flat.

Had some Knee Deep Belgo Hoptologist and THAT was really good. Much like Lost Abbey's Devotion it's a high quality beer. More on the hoppy side vs the Belgian side which I really like.

Again, if you can find Pizza Port Brewing Co's Swami's IPA pick it up.

Had Ghandi Bot for the first time this year last night. It seems sweeter than I remember and much less harsh. Either my pallette has evolved (I used to flat out hate IPAs) or there was a change in this batch.

If it was a change on their end, I hope it stays as I found it to be REALLY damn tasty.

I was telling the gf how I am becoming a beer snob, she said "becoming?".

Admittedly, I am spoiled, but I don't rate and compare beers based on their aroma and whatnot on real beer forums. I do post on here what I like, so I have some time before I take it to full beer snobbery level.

Ghandi batches vary greatly as they don't use the same hop selections for each canning.

The recent batches seem much less oniony to me

I didn't get a lot of fetid grapefruit that I typically get with dipas. It had a sweet start, almost a creamy body, and a slightly bitter finish that ended cleanly. I really like this batch.
