Default Important question about sideskirts

i was wondering if anyone had painted their OEM wrx sideskirts and how they were doing (chipped peeling etc...) ive heard different things like they should be fine to pain tand also that they can never be properly painted... whats the deal ... really..?

I think the painted OEM sideskirts are the same material as the stock black ones....so it could probably be painted just fine although I just bought mine from www.subaruwrxparts.com

5months with $14 DIY paint job, no chips no cracks yet.

I had a professional shop do mine since Subaru doesn't make Midnight Black painted sideskirts. They came out really good, I'll see how they hold up after winter.

The painted OEM ones are perfectly smooth like your body panels, not rough like the black ones. In case you care...
