Default 04-07 front Brembos any different from 08+?

So from what I gathered, all front Brembo calipers from 04-13 were all the same minus the fact that the 05 years had longer bolts due to the harmonic balancer mount.

I'm trying to sell a single 08+ caliper but the buyer wants to confirm fitment on his 07. I thought it would all bolt up but Subaru Genuine Parts, KNS Brakes, and his local dealership stated that only the 04-07 are swappable where as the 08+ has to remain on their specific generations.

I have the harmonic mount for the 05 so I tested the bolt holes and threaded in bolts to both and they seem to fit fine. They look like a splitting image to my 05 clappers. Can anyone confirm nor deny the 08+ calipers fitment on an 04-07 chassis?

Identical parts. Will fit no issue.

That's what I thought too! I mean rotors remained the same and all. Only thing that was different were the rear brakes from what I researched.

Theres rumors that the newer calipers are stiffer somehow, but ive disassembled and compared them up down left right and have found no difference.

These rumors may be coming from the rear rotors that are different, or the color change from gold to black.

'04 rotors are different. 5x100. Caliper are the same physically.
