How is the steering setup for this car? Have you looked into taller front differentials to apply more load on the engine (make the turbo spool faster, raise top speed, etc)?

It is a Porsche manual steering rack (a "ZF" I believe).

We're using a FP White twin scroll Mitsubishi turbo setup by Moore Performance that is to spool up fairly quickly.

We'll really discover a lot more when we take the car to Doug at Top Speed for the chassis dyno tune.

Default High flow cat selection

I'm shopping for a high flow cat for the exhaust system Danny needs to fabricate. The plans are to have the cat be interchangable with a test pipe.

I know there are many out there and I've used Random Technologies before (on my Viper) so I know they work and last, plus they're made right here in Atlanta. But, I thought I'd just browse Summit to look at others too. I'm pretty sure we need a 3" and its gotta be as short as possible.

3" stainless from Vibrant Performance, 10" length (#7102 @ $103.90)

3" stainless from Dynatech, 11.5" length (#779-40030 @ 169.95)

3" stainless from Pacesetter Performance, 10.94" length (#80-0068 @ $156.95)

They're going out on Mon. morning. We boxed up all the 6-speed components today. Marty, do you want me to ship everything ground or express?

Where is the gas tank going on this one? Looks like battery in the front replaces the previous location and no room in the rear. Will this one use the bigger 'behind the seat' prototype tank? If so, how many gallons does that one end up being?

Yep, tank will go behind the seats. I forget exactly the capacity, maybe 10-12 gallons or so - Danny will have to remind me the size.

I would want to use one of these catalytic converters: http://www.frozenboost.com/product_i...17e7b1abf8eb9c
I am going to wait until this build is done and on the road before I decide to do this- since I am in Georgia, I should be able to get pretty much all the info I need on titling/registering from this thread or asking pook (assuming I don't make it a track-only car).

Is there anything that will block debris from being thrown into the driver's face? Any fenders?

That is looking SICK!
