Touch up paint - Where to buy and how to use?
I'm so pissed. Homeless man hump sprawls over my hood to clean my windshield. I tell him to get off my car, but by then it's too late... he's wearing "fashion" handcuffs and they scratch my hood... three scratches, with a few pinpoints down to the white >=
Pissed is about as strong a word as i can use with the new forum rule in effect =p =) =P AAAAAAAAARGGGGHHH So i need to know where i can buy WRX Rally Blue Pearl touch up paint, how much it will cost me, and any application tips you guys have. Muchos thanks, and watch out getting off the 10 fwy at Western >=(

i wouldn't recommend touch-paint because they're kinda thick and dull, and when you apply it, it wont be smooth as the car paint.... and when you look at the car, you can totally tell the touched up place. i rather just close one eye and over look it.
when i had the bmw... the previous owner had gotten keyes... from the hood down to the fender across the body.... on a BLACK car... anyways... just my $.02 |

I'm sorry to hear that Jing. I agree with Benny, but I've heard others have success. You might want to try the Wagonbeastymonster toothpick method mentioned on an earlier thread.
Here's a linky for your minky in case you're still interested: http://www.subaruparts.com/catalog/?section=144 I think I know the cat that works that exit (goes by the names Jesse or Rodent), but he's usually on the Vermont off-ramp. I'm sure he didn't mean to do what he did. Just be sure to wave the finger in a "no no" motion so that they completely understand that there is no chance for any form of gratuity. Have a sweet night. -OLMEK [edit] Here's that beasty thread I mentioned: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...hreadid=241931 |

do it the easy way
Rather then doing all the sanding stuff, go with some Langka www.langka.com Stuff works great. The only thing is that our touch up paint is a bit thin.. So you probably want to do about 3-4 coats to get the blob up. Just let each coat dry like over night then add another. If the scratchs/chips are deep it's kinda hard to get right. here's some directions to follow just pick one
