Explain?

26k Kilometers is only just over 16k miles, not sure how that makes more sense at all...

Derp, read that wrong...
Regardless, that's a lot of maintenance needed for having lowish miles.

Alright guys, heads up on my conversion to a black interior. Got the black e-brake yesterday and ordered my rear seats today. Matching pair to my fronts (black with red stitching).

I also am in the works of getting black carpet. I will then most likely be plasti dipping what I can of the rest of the tan pieces.

Hi guys. I'm looking into picking up a 08 or 09 Impreza 2.5i in the Denver area but I'm seeing some crazy price variances. I've seen some with 20-30k miles from anywhere between 14.5 and 17k) Is 15 a pretty approximate price for a standard, decent condition model with no premium/nav stuff or am I getting taken for a ride?

I looked up the value on clearbook, and that points to around 15. Seems reasonable, but I figured posters here would have a better idea.

$15,000 is decent I'd start at $13500/$14000 and negotiate from there

Check NADA and KBB for retail prices too.

Seems pretty reasonable but id bargain it down. Even if it is kbb, the price is at the highest quality of being in prestine condition which I doubt is possible since its used.

I got my '08 Outback Sport for just under $15k with 26k on it in May 2009. Cold weather options.

When we were looking for an older Impreza they were about 15-18k depending on the year. We looked at some real turds and some nice ones. It just didn't make sense to go with a used one when we got a '12 sport premium for a tad over 20k with a much better interest rate, better mileage and it was a new car with a warranty. Something to look into.

4 months... I placed my order in feb and received it end of may ish. But I placed my order with mike stated it would be 6-8 weeks. He's since become faster. He got backed up with me. It worked out though because towards the end of the order I had some more cash for the ceramic coating and rush shipping to Canada.

The wait is all about people in front of you. 15 weeks after payment he said he was starting to make it on a Friday and was shipped 3 days later on Monday.

Like he said in a post, send me a blank cheque and I'll have one sent out tomorrow haha.

My best guess is the sub-box is what ultimately made the rears give. That thing weighs a f*****g lot. Fronts I have no clue. Only "rallying" I would consider I've ever done is the gravel road I seldom take on the way to work.

How ****ty are you asphalt roads in your area? In ca, there's lots of potholes, which may be your issue.

Its that typical sound you hear in Subarus, the sound of the plastic tapping on plastic. And so is my trunk area, i think I'm gonna have to spend a day to pad everything down

Installed my black e-brake today. Pretty basic install. Tight squeeze that's for sure.

Here's a couple phone pics. Interior is slowly coming along.

I got my 5-speed '09 base 4 door for $17,500 bran new with 2.5% interest. I was looking for a used Impreza, or another very low mileage, one or two year old car at the time- and they had some there but they were mostly automatics, and prior rentals, '06 and '07... and you can't get a used car loan at 2.5% interest. Sometimes they have them for 1.5 or 0.0% interest too.. I think until last year my car booked out at about $15k- low miles, almost perfect condition.

I picked the best time in history to buy a bran new car I guess. It did not depreciate like a new car used to. The dealer is constantly trying to buy it back from me, LOL. There is a used car shortage in this country because of cash for clunkers and other economic reasons.. that is why good used cars are holding their value so well, especially brands like Subaru, Honda, etc..

My buddy has an 02 WRX with 35k (original owner) plus a 08 LGT Spec-B with low miles and his dealer will not leave him alone about them they have even offered what he payed for the LGT 2 years later. No base Impreza will ever hold a value like that but the used market is insane right now. Even if you pay more up front you'll probably score a much lower interest rate on a new car which may be worth it.
