Default cure for cancer is shells n cheese.

well shells n gold, anyways. interesting potential candidate for the wAr against the medical aXis of evAl!!!11!

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmp...oshells_cancer

Apparently they shoot you up with these gold nanoshells that collect in the tumor, then hit you up with near-infrared radiation. the gold stuff heats up and kills the tumor since it's the only area with a significant concentration of the nanoshells. they either directly inject it, or do it intraveinously and let it collect in the tumor. interesting stuff.

hopefully these nanodealies won't burst into flames when hit by a camera flash. that would certainly make recovery celebrations less enjoyable.

or take some NSAIDs daily. i read about an intersting study that showed non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs can inhibit tumor growth, and may prevent them from growing in the 1st place.

i was recently watching something on the discovery channel. it showed the research that went into finding that thalidomide would prevent the growth of blood vessels. when a tumor grows it sends out a protein that causes blood vessels to grow around the tumor, feeding it so it can grow.

I usually eat a few aspirins over the course of the day. I know they're good for the heart and all. it's like pumping 5w-30 instead of 10w-40 . I think aspirin is considered a NSAID.

maybe they should inject some sort of nano-shell technology into newborns, then as they get older when they really are sick/wounded/etc, the doctor has a device that can activate the nano-shells (his device would be called The Blue Box, get it? ).

Default Osmosis Igg vs The Metastasizer

They should inject nano-Iggs into the tumors. They would be all like "Woo-PAH! What be this wild substrate?" and then get busy with all the kniving and celery.

Or celerity.

Osmosis Igg 43B: "A FLESH QUAKE!"
Osmosis Igg 764Z: "Ah, a bilious brain blast?"
Osmosis Igg 43B: "Verily."

__

I think it would go something like that.
