For the OT poker heads
This is probably old n00z to you guys, but I laughed...
http://www.videosift.com/video/An-Amazing-Hand-Of-Poker Also, got some seat time for only the third time this weekend on some real play vs Asinine, TurboJonLS, and Beer:30. I'm really starting to enjoy this game.

Beer: at 1:30 we decided to put an hour time limit on the game, it was just me, Asinine, and one of Jon's friends left in (Dave). Dave went out a few minutes later and Chris and I had to fight it out for like 45 minutes. He knows how to play me, so I had to stay real conservative. He ended up breaking even on what he bought in (almost) and I took the rest. |

almost makes me want to believe they rigged the deck for more interesting tv play. AA against KK against QQ, with 77 and 55's out there too? Thats pretty sick.

A weak one. We didn't up the blinds at all... probably should have.
We were playing 25 cent small blind, 50 cent big blind all night. By midnight those were pretty much meaningless, anyone who wanted to play would throw in $4+ and we'd just pull our blinds back |

But folding Kings? Wow. Asinine is vicious about all-in, he went in a couple of times this weekend when we were 1 on 1 and I wouldn't follow Hell, I had pocket Kings of my own and I still bet conservatively at one point! |

Was it a straight cash game, or did everyone chip in like $10 for $500 in chips?

Ah, that makes more sense to keep the blinds the same if you're playing straight cash. We should get an OT tournament game together...

I had to borrow $ from Ted to buy in a 4th time. Thankfully, 4th time was the charm. I ended up head to head with Ted with about 2/3 of the money in front of me. Unfortunately, Ted's a much more patient player than I. With 40 minutes left til cash-out, I started hunting for the whole kiddie, and ended up losing most of my stack. I walked out about even.

But yes, patience is obviously a virtue. That's *one* thing I've learned from the little PDA poker I've been using to practice. Wait... wait... wait... bet!... see the flop, decide bet was bad, don't throw good money after bad... wait... wait... bet!... good flop! Bet more! I'm normally NOT a patient person, so this is playing to my weak side. But it seemed like as soon as we put a time limit on the game, you and Dave changed play style and went into end-game mode. I went into "just walk out of here with at least $20" mode, which was tricky since every time I'd check you'd ****ing raise! |

That hand plays out about every 5 mins. The site is a giant scam to pit big cards against each other. The bigger the pots the bigger the rakes. |

I play on their free site, and you're right. They have so many unbelieveable suck outs, it can't be coincidental.

Played and won the first sit & go on bodog I've played in a month. Some dumb aggressive kid went all in against me for about 20 straight hands once we went heads up. Dumb enough to show me the cards he was playing too.
