Moving to Cincy, Wondering if there are any good shops near by?
Hi guys,
I'm moving to Cincy in a few weeks and was wondering if there are any good, trust-worthy shops in the area? I have a Tacoma that I will be using to move my stuff, but I am bringing my Forester to Cincy in the next few months after I get settled. The Forester has a built block from TopSpeed in Atlanta and a Full-Race EFR turbo with all of the typical supporting stuff, so I am looking for a good shop who is familiar with built cars, not just typical maintenance. Also, are there any Subaru clubs or big shows in Ohio or the surrounding area? thanks, Dan here is the car:

Turn In Concepts is probably your best bet for tuned Subaru's in Cincy.
As far a clubs, there's two local factions (Cincinnati Subarus and CincyScoobs), and the biggest annual event is the Joseph Subaru Meet (typically in late August) and the Hueston Woods Cookout (usually June or July). There are occasional meets, install days, etc, organized by one faction or the other. |

Not sure how deep in the Forester scene you are, but Tuned200 and PamCakes are local.

TIC is THE shop to go to, great guys, great work.
I stopped running those, unfortunately. I just don't have the time anymore (and all the BS drama between the groups has left me not really participating in either) Saturday mornings at Fuel Coffee on the east side are awesome regardless of what car you drive, everything is there from classic British roadsters to beastly muscle, exotics, imports, and bikes. Starts at 8am and the lot fills FAST when the weather is good. |

100% your fault It was you, Amy and Adrian that I really remember from the OG crowd, things have definitely changed around here. Lots of new faces while some of the old crowd has moved away or otherwise moved on, still a good number around though.

Yeah back in the day it was nice because most of us were just chill and wanted to hang out. Now a lot of drama not just in Cincy but everywhere. |
