Yes, we know it's not a Suby, but this is wayyyyyyyyyyy too exciting to not share this with all the folks at NASIOC! Our signature vehicle the "Ricer" is finally up and running with a brand new built motor thanks to the boys at Buschur Racing. Emery has been tuning it for the past couple of days and much to our excitement the Evo reached an astounding 658awhp/529awtq on our Mustang Dyno! We plan on taking the car on it's first track run at the 2009 Carolina Subaru, Evo, and DSM Shootout this weekend. Keep your eyes peeled for our timeslip VERY soon!

Kind of off the topic, but what size tires are you running on this car? Might just be the video, but they look wide.
On topic nice numbers. I have always thought the EVO is a impressive machine.

Not off-topic at all and a good question! For this dyno run the tires are Falken azenis, the size is 255/40/17, and are wrapped around Enkei RPF01s.

The Ricer is usually on Hoosier slicks.

I'll update the first post for that.

Impressive stuff! Any idea what a stock STi puts down on your dyno for reference?

Unreal sounds from that car. Initially it sounds like a prop plane dive bombing then something from hell. I even stepped back from my monitor getting nervous that something might happen. And 40 psi! Has anyone ever gone that high on a Subaru block?

Why E70? Why not E85? I would think you might be able to make a little more power on E85?

BLEE's 04 Sti is our current guinea pig for our tuning, mods, and parts.
He came in with just a JIC Catback and he ran 218whp on our dyno. There have been other WRX/STis that have run on our dyno; I'll try to get some of their charts up too.

As for the questions about E70, Heads, and Cams I'll find out ASAP or have Emery post. I wasn't personally there for the dyno run so I don't want to give out wrong info

yes E-85 would have more potential for power but as it is now the cold season, all the local gas stations have switched over from E-85 to E-70.

I remember a couple years back when I lived in Ohio. I saw a girl driving this car at either the DSM shootout or at the Evo vs STi shootout.

Awesome car! Each year you brought it out, it would go even faster.

Yes, I see. Will it be re-tuned on E85 when the weather gets warmer then?
