Default is it ok to run sti front springs with my 04 wrx rear stock springs?

I was wondering if it would be ok to run Sti front springs and just keep my rear 04 wrx springs. I shouldnt have any problems right. I also have group N front tophats to put with them I dont have the rear group N tophats though.

OK? Sure. When driven hard, the car will understeer.

From a performance standpoint it will not be an ideal setup. Stiff front + soft rear = understeer

lower a little and stiffen the springs a little and I figured instead of getting lowering springs that will work your stock struts to hell.
SO ANY YEAR STI SPRING SHOULD DROP RIGHT ONTO MY 04 WRX STOCK STRUTS WITH GROUP N FRONT TOPHATS AND STOCK 04 WRX REAR TOPHATS.

Yes, any 04 - 07 STi springs will bolt right in. They're about at the limit of the damping of the stock struts, but will work just fine.

Yep 04-07 STi take offs are a pretty common upgrade and can be found for cheap.
