TGV Sensor broke, I need to confirm the right part
I've search around Nasioc carefully and my friend has an 2006 WRX. He broke the sensor and I found this number 22633AA210 but for older models.
I found it here: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=630216 The sensor is in the picture so if someone could confirm this I would really appreciate it and where's a good place to buy it?

The problem is that I've had trouble confirming the part number, had trouble at subarugenuineparts.com etc finding it. It's my first time actually asking because I haven't really found a concrete answer.
What happened was that he was working with his car and he broke the sensor. Whenever he hits around 3.5K or so rpm at full throttle it feels like it hits fuel cut and you hear like a backfire through the external wastegate. Sounds bad but the car runs fine below it. Also he got engine codes p1491, p2016, p2433, and p2431. Our conclusion is that it's that part obviously. Also, the local subbie mechanic suggested that he did the TGV delete once n for all and clear the codes when he gets retuned. Anyhow that's the problem in general. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks |

I have some sensors and motors from a 2007 sitting around from when I did the TGV delete mod. If you don't mind waiting a few weeks, I can send you a sensor next time I'm home. |

i can't seem to find mine...i took them off before i sold the tgv's.
i dont think they would have changed the sensor..it's very possible they might have changed the part number for the exact same part as well Last edited by Darkness Of Death; 11-07-2009 at 09:44 AM. |

If you haven't found any luck with the tgv sensors/motors PM me. I can send you mine, just cover shipping.
Thinking about it, you might just want to delete the tgvs & have the rod holes welded shut (local welding company could do it in less than a day). The only parts you would need is new intake manifold gaskets. Nick |
