Thanks, it was quite a bit of work, but I enjoyed it, in a sick kind of way.

A couple weeks ago I did a VF and STi TMIC swap in to my 2005 FXT. Due to the JDM STi (bugeye) hoodscoop and now STi TMIC my splitter needed to be replaced or modified. I decided on modified.

I picked up some sheet metal and rivets and went to work. It took a while to get everything fitting just right but the end result is great. I extented it vertically to seal with the new hood scoop and widened it to to seal fully around the perimeter of the STi TMIC. It came out looking really good and nearly factory, plus I saved myself the $375 for a Subtle Solutions splitter! Total cost, about $10. I'll try to remember to get some pics up later.

Straight traded my 07 wheels for these G-forces, gave her the first bath of the spring, and then took advantage of the beautiful weather and took a few photos

Car was idling rough and driving really badly today, so I figure id check the maf and clean it, well I pull the cover off the cobb intake and find my filter resting in my fender well and my intake hose clamps loose. Glad it was a simple fix!

Just finished a simple oil change on the 2.5i. All while wishing it was a WRX... Poor student problems...

Why not wish it was an STI?

just installed my Cobb AP, Stage 2, and my invidia n1 race TBE! very happy but I will take off the CBE on monday, it is extremely loud and it can not be driven daily with that amazing CBE unfortunately. I did not expect it to be that loud. I will go back to my APS 2.5" axle back, stock midpipe and invidia bellmouth downpipe to stay stage 2 tuned. I will keep the N1 race CBE untill I get my 2nd car, hopefully soon.

Cause those are pretty high hopes for someone who just turned 18. An sti would put my insurance at about $450 a month!

My 08 Silverado 02 Wrx and STI is less than 250 with 100 dollar deductable. Sometimes it pays to be 30

Bullet proofed my topmount (thanks danielle!) and finally got my tune after fixing a small coolant leak from a hole in the hose. Very happy with its set up just wish I would have convinced myself to do TGV deletes before throwing the new motor in.

That's as much as my 06 impreza... Got a great deal on the car, now I'm paying for it in insurance. So I might as well mod what I got!

If you don't track what's the point. I'll never fork out 7k$ more for 6th gear brembos and a little bigger tarbo. Stage 2 is fast enough for allot cheaper.

It's not just the 6th gear and brembos though. The Sti is superior in almost every way except for the cost.
