Dodge Demon
Haven't seen this posted yet. New MX-5 competitor from Dodge:
http://www.autoblog.com/2007/02/12/d...but-in-geneva/ IMHO kinda ugly, and according to the report is heavier than the MX-5. But, if it drives well...

Looks pretty good, despite the cross grill dominating the front.

Wow.. way to steal the Z4's styling cues (sidecut & 'hips')
I don't believe the original Dodge Demon was ever a convertable... hmmmm. |

I like it a lot. They need to make this.
One thing that I've noticed is that the vast majority of people tend to view cars in this class such as the MX-5, Solstice, S2k, etc. as "chick cars". One of the cool things about this car is that it's styling actually looks genuinely pissed off. Between that and the name, I think this car could fight that mentality. Especially with a SRT-4 version. 300hp Mini-Viper FTW. Half the Viper's size, half the Viper's horsepower. Would be very sweet. |

Sadly, I'd buy one. |

Don't like the grill and the entire rear of the car. But it shows some promise.

While I like it, how many products can the cheap & small convertable market hold? it went from the Miata to the Miata, Solstice & Sky, and this. Hopefully the market grows to handle the new product instead of dividing up Miata sales. I don't think this market is really growing, however.

Now that is the absolute worst application of the already ass-ugly crosshair grille. Nice TT rip-off on the rear. How changed is this thig from the Razor concept, anyway?
....and why didn't they call it the Duster? |

Rear fenders are weird, its like they're trying not to give it a trunk. I wonder about the size of the market for this car and also what platform they would use for it.

I wanna like it... really, I do, but it's just not doing it for me. The concept is great and all, but the execution leaves me wanting the Razor more.

I like that a bunch of new roadsters are coming out. But, I still can't see myself in a Dodge.

Interesting specs, with the exception of the 19" wheels. No good rubber to wrap them wheels yet. 18s would be best.
