I second that. I have one friend that would be allowed to drive my car if need be.

The only person who drives my car when it's actually on the road is someone who's a better driver than I am.

And a 1 and a 2 and a Ching Chong potato.

See everyone complains about how bad this thread is and yet it's 5 pages of other ppl with bad luck and a few people who don't like it.

It is the off topic forum, there's worse threads out there.

No I like to work on my cars and tweek on there motors. If i blow it up it's a good excuse to go bigger. I push them to there limits to find there weaknesses, then build it better. When I get to a place were everything is good I sell it and start over. Mine isn't a sob story its all fun for me (maybe not my wife though). I get bored if I don't have something to work on.

So much fail in this thread.

I have had my car for 2 years driving the piss out of it and only doing regular maintenance and so far the only thing that had the be replaced was an 02 sensor and an ac idler pulley. Mind you the body could be better but that don't bother me.

The previous owner of my car was a fisherman and didn't use the car as anything but transport. I am having a blast with it and as long as you have the car running properly it will be fine. So many times i've seen people running AFR numbers so high its just begging for the engine to go BOOM! its insane the terrible problems associated with these cars but its the same everywhere subarus, toyotas, ferraris, mclarens, audis, etc.

I thought I had bad luck:

3 weeks after I bought the new WRX I hit a raccoon at ~80 MPH on the interstate and crack my bumper

5 weeks after the purchase my friend accidentally scratches my hood.

First time I decide to park close to a busy restaurant I get a ding.

Nice to know that is barely scratching the surface of your misfortune.

This is very common where i live ? more than half the people i know with manuals have remote starters, myself included (on the last 4 cars i have owned)

Have not had any issues with this setup in over 10 years,

I park outside, last night is was -25C (-13F) ... being able to start the car from inside the house is almost a must.

Also. Handbrake not up, car will not start. That is how it most commonly configured here.

I'd suggest OP sell the car & walk to work.

Of course, he'd prolly step off a curb & get creamed by his car's new owner.

No, there is a sensor (or something like that) that you can ground with the alarm so you can keep the car in gear. I read that on some alarm brand page

*edit edit* just reread ur post.. Yea when u live in places where it is ice ice cold out then I suggest remote start. But when it's in the teens and or higher then just man up and wait in the car for it to warm up. Maybe because I despise remote start but that's my input lol

Came back as an O2 sensor? You know that doesn't just mean that the sensor is bad right?
