white face guaged from procarparts.com
I got some white face guages off procarparts.com and what a mistake that was. When they arrived they were in a ziploc bag and had a black smudge right under the 60 mph mark but I decided to give them a whirl nonetheless. When installed the holes in the middle of the guages are way too big so white light shines through at night...in a BAD way. There was also white light coming from around the sides and during the day you could see the guts of the instrument cluster through the center. They didn't come with any pegs either to catch the needle as well and the stock ones are too small. Not only that but the switch to adjust color is actually a small pad with 4 bumps on it that looks extremely cheasy...and also doesn't work very well. After expressing my concerns to procarparts.com through 2 emails and waiting 9 days they got back to me with an incomplete response. The only concern they addressed was the smudge on the speedo guage face. I replied and its been another 4 days and still no response. My advice would be to stay away from these things as they're not worth the trouble...and getting the needles to work right after you remove them once is next to impossible. Although if anyone wants to buy them I'll sell them real cheap at this point. Anyone had any luck with white face guages at all?

It'd almost be worth it! Luckily I just heard back from procarparts and they're refunding my money minus a 20% re-stock fee. So I guess all is well but I just wish I never went through the hassle. Some things you learn the hard way.

i had great luck with their reverse indiglo. white face during day, black and green/blue at night, though i haven't found a good place to install the switch. Pretty easy to put on, and look really good

I installed a set of the indiglo style set and the only problem i had was supporting the covers so they would not touch the dials when driving. I did that by putting a piece of foam in betwen the faces and the cover after that no problems with needles sticking and light leaking. You just need a little patiece with the set since there is no pins to support it you can glue it but I did not want to just in case i would want to change it in the future. Which I probably will I like the way the rev inglos look, to bad they did not have them earlier or they would have been my first choice. I ordered mine from procarparts and they came in a box in good cond .Looks like Jeff02WRX got a returned set . Not cool.

My guages seemed to fit alright. One thing of note, that I have never heard anyone else mention is that some double sided tape works wonders on the back of the gauges. It fits nice and flat, can't be seen at all, and isn't permanent like glue would but, but it sure works just as good as glue. Everyone should give it a try.

There are many different variations of these gauges that can be had from several subaru related websites, and ebay, as well as pro-car parts. The quality of many of them is questionable though. Pro car parts hasn't exactly been known to always carry the highest of quality parts, but the gauges that they carry should be just fine for your car. Like I said, they are good in mine.
