Porsche Boxster S
WRX vs. Porsche Boxster S, who would win? Or is it so close that it would boil down to driver ability?

probably the boxster in most imagineably competitions. the WRX is probably a better car for 0-60 and for anything where all wheel drive would be a big help |

yeah...a stock wrx should be able to take it on a shorter, straight race...anything else the wrx will have big problems..unless the driver of the porsche is a total neophyte & the driver of the wrx is very good...

I can occasionally beat a regular Boxster in raw times at autox (it depends on the driver). If I ran in the WRX and then jumped on the same course in a Boxster S it would be no contest, Boxster S all the way. Probably rain or shine as well.

Not sure if they were a boxster or boxster S. Hard to tell when your in front. but you never know the driver could really suck. I think its an ugly car, but I thought that about the WRX until I bought one. |

Pretty much anyone could do the same in the dry (dry is easy). As far as doing both in the wet, that takes a little more experience to go fast, in BOTH cars. |

Look at the BRAKES to determine S or not when you see them at a red light since you won't ever see the back of them! (Grins while assuming most Box and Box S drivers are recently divorced, middle-aged dudes who just traded their suburban and can't drive anything less than 5K lbs.)
I actually like all Porches except the Box (S or not) and the Chyenne SUV thingy-mo bob. Anyone ever seen a GT2 around? |

I say the ChronicSystems Boxster would win!! Well not in a straight, but in top speed and on the track.

Yeah. I had to leave the Porsche area at the Auto Show this year for fear of spontaneous orgasm. I quick trip to the American Manf. area was all I needed to errr..... cool off. lol
I'll have to cruise SugarLand looking for some GT2s. Not that I would street race them. Nahh. Nope. Not gonna do it... |

Go down to the 360 bridge. I have GREAT luck seeing gt2s there. wellll, gt2 (singular) there. I've seen a blue gt2 there about 5 times. I think he just drives it back and forth across the bridge for the sole purpose of enhancing the scenery around there. Theres also a 911 turbo or two here in pimberton. And theres a murcielago over on 6th street that I've seen twice. I'm pretty sure he lives near 6th and lamar. Both times I saw him he was turning from lamar onto 6th.
