Just happened last night. After work today found the belt sticking out of the cover. Not sure what I'm going to do yet.

I think I will find a pulley at fault, as the belt was split in half as well.

^So did you catch it before it came completely apart and ruined a valve, or did the belt come off while the engine was running?

Just got done doing a set. I don't have the equipment to re finish valve seats or press in valve guides, but I can inspect bearing clearances, adjust valve lash, replace spring, retainers, seals, etc.

Hmmm I might even have some extra heads around here. Have to do a little research to help make a decision on what direction to go. Anyone have any 205/55/16 tires, need to make my trusty rusty talon a little more road worthy.

Haha, yeah definitely a lot of parts around, but it's good for times like this.
The tires are a Bridgestone high performance all season... not sure what model exactly. $100 and they're yours.
Over 50% tread left.

Anyone near Appleton have the short i-pod adapter cable that plugs into 09ish Subys to allow the factory cable to charge your i-pod? I had one of these on my 09 STI and thought it might work on the cable in my M3. It would literally take me a minute to find out if it works. Thanks!

I drove my STI through winter, but I go back and forth between Neenah and Oshkosh, not so much Appleton.
