Default A special thanks to all my tuning customers and a notice for 2004

April 3rd will have been a year since I started offering tuning services to the greater midwest region. I just wanted to take a minute to thank the dozens of people on NASIOC alone, and the hundreds more they've referred off the board.

For 2004 I'd like to continue offering road tuning services to people, but it's going to be on a more selective basis. While I've yet to be involved in any hairy, or even near hairy situation with anyone. I need to think of the child that will be here come September.

I'll continue to offer dyno tuning services via the alliance I have with GRD in Naperville. But road tuning will be a matter of my confidence in the driver.

Thanks again to all, and I hope that my choice on road tuning will not affect the people who've expressed interest already for '04.

Nathan @ TXS flat out refuses to get in a car for a road tune unless a TXS employee is driving......He told a story of a "scary" experiance with a wacky WRX driver trying to do full 4th gear pulls in traffic.

I've always thought Jorge was a brave man to do on the road testing. I've seen some of these guys take off really quick from Borders!

I will probably be looking at using jorges services for the first time in the spring. I already have my utec, but want to add a few parts before I go with the custom tune. Dyno tuning would be no problem with me. The way I look at it is, I could pay $175 off the bat for Jorge to do it right, or I could take my car out for an unnecessary drive at a very high rate of speed, endangering both myself and jorge all while risking getting pulled over with a huge fine and points.

better then most heh.

On a side note, I can't see why doing a honda be different, it be a matter of syntax with a different EMS.

It just be a matter of me doing some homework to see how the dynamics of the motor are.

Thanks Jorge for all the help you have brought me. We will see how the aggressive map works when spring hits, and have any adjustments made if necessary.

Thanks again!

Oh well, I'll have to tune the Mustang myself

But I really drive like an old lady anyhow......

Smart move Jorge.

And that's worse than 5th gears pulls in traffic on I94?

It's great to have you around Jorge!!! Without you, I'd probably have blown a motor or 2 messing with numbers. But because nothing says thanks like a dancing banana...
