New turbo inlet hose.
I was just brousing around on APS's webpage and noticed they have a new inlet pipe, it has adapters for stock sized inlet turbos and 3" inlet turbos, has anyone installed this yet? how was the install?
this sounds like the final solution to thoes colapsed silicone hoses. Link to APS's inlet pipe

im willing to bet that it will be compeditive with current inlet hoses if you think about it, this pipe would be less expensive to pruduce than others. however getting in my samco was a serious PITA i dont even want to know how this one will be due to the fact that it is not flexible.

I saw the piece too. Looks really nice. A theard in the classifieds, one of the vendors say it should be under 300. I would think silicon hoses would cost more to make too.

I think its around 295. I hope it installs without removing the manifold.

i just had the perrin one put in, and i must admit, everyone raves about perrin's quality, but as this is the first part i've gotten from them, i was not impressed.
aps, on the other hand, gets a thumbs up from me. but like everyone has already said, no way that thing's going to install without taking off the manifold, which means adding more labor to the cost of the inlet pipe for people like me. |

yes, removing the manifold is a pita.
BUT you can also switch to parallel fuel rails, remove the TGVs, and gasket match the intake manifold while you're in there. |
