oh man, yes we are...
i first fell in love with the RS when we were driving by a shopping center and saw a whoel line of them back in '99. we instantly pulled in the lot to look at them. every one was cool and showed us their cars. i am attending my first meet sunday, and i can't wait! |

well around here ther are alot of people that have RS's because they look cool (alot of high school girls seem to drive them) so when I see a nother on I flash my fogs and see if they respond if they do it usualy means that they know whats up...(that we have on of the coolest cars around when you look at the big picture)and if they know whats up then they are probubly on here. so we might no each other anyway.
BTW last night I saw a blue RS with a dual tip muffler and New York plates. here in Lafayette Colorado... any one know who this was? |

it's odd, though. nobody bothered to wave at me when i was driving a '96 legacy brighton..
and i got sneered at a lot in the '81 GL wagon. but now that i've moved up to a wrx, people will actually acknowledge me. ... |

Jim-Bob,
I aknowledge you for driving the Brighton and GL, wholeheartedly! The audacity of those that sneered! |

911 drivers acknowledge each other too.
I rarely see other RS's or WRX's. Only seen 3 on the road cept for local i-club gatherings. |

I've seen two others, I drove next to another wrx on the highway one day, pulled up so he would notice- guy didn't even acknowledge the fact that I was there except that usual "look to see who's passing me". then I was behind a white rs going the opposite way being driven by someone that looked about 50 with a group of bridge partners with em. I tell ya, I gotta get around more, god knows I try
speed safely Brian |
