The civic sounds weird because its a little 1.6 ltr. Hondas are meant to be loud high rev cars I loved the sound of my integra it was louder that anything at the races, even louder that the blue integra. But it was also a 1.8 ltr and a true type R Lusio might remember how loud it was. If not gimme a bit longer with my new integra also speaking of exhausts the fozzy is loud now too

You mean like 8k on the JDM sti? Or what about the fiat 500 arbath is that a large engine?

Face it, most people who mod Hondas don't have good taste or the money to make em sound better. VWs sound better than Hondas lol

And UEL Subaru's sound like older V8 cars not bro trucks.

My truck sounds nothing like my suby. Course my truck doesn't have 8cyls either....
They do both make pleasing turbo sounds tho.
Lots of cars sound different, it's not like any one manufacturer's all sound alike (even Subaru), or like the current exhaust setup doesnt have a lot to do with it. Lots of riced cars sound bad when they have too small of pipe somewhere, and no efficient muffler on the end.

And yes, suby engines rev plenty high from the factory... Just not in anything they give us in the US... really wish the br-z had another 1000+ on their top end. That motor seems like its capable of so much more.

I really think subaru could, given a 2.0L w/12.5-1comp and valve timing, have done something more like 250hp... Would have really made lots of people more impressed and satisfied.
