Default Airbag light won`t light up at all, need help!

Hi, ok so i just bought this 2007 sti and the airbag light in the instrument cluster won't light up at all when i turn the key on. I did some research and could only find problems where the airbag light won't turn off. I really have no idea why it doesn't turn on so if you guys have any idea please tell me.

thank you so much

Was the car in an accident? It's possible someone tried to cover up an airbag deployment or malfunction by disabling the light or disconnecting the module. The light is an LED and they do not go bad on their own.
If you got the car from a dealer take it back and have them fix it. If it was a private party sale, it may be worthwhile to pay a dealer to diagnose the problem and if it turns out to be what I stated, go back to the seller and try to get some cash from them to repair it.

Hi, thanks for your reply. The car wasn't accidented , there is no repaint on the car ( checked with paint tool). I checked every wire under the driver seat and i checked the wires on the module under the center console (removed shifter boot thing) and the wires are all plugged. I have the cluster out so i am going to check it if everything is ok if not then do you have an idea of how you can disable that light? I live in canada and i bought it in florida from a private party so it would be a little more complicated getting the money, so i would like to try everything first.

thank you so much

Check the bulb itself. You will have to take the cluster out, but it could be as simple as a blown bulb.
