Paperchasin, working on it.
They seem to have an excellent product. However, the install is more involved with Redline. You have to drill and rivet to install...

I'd go if they were carbon fiber instead of green. I thought I saw a pic of Carbon ones a week or two ago, but don't recall exactly.

Guys,

I'm still waiting on final pricing. As this item will not be for sale till Feb 05, information is coming in drips and drabs. I will do my best to get this GB going ASAP.

From the overwhelming response, we will not be able to personally pm everyone. We would love to, but at this time it would be difficult. Check back to this thread.
To anwser some of the questions:

To learn more about us (we recieved about 10 pm's on this) go here: www.JnJAssociates.biz
We have been servicing the Nasioc community for a few months now and have proven to be reliable with excellent products and great pricing.

As of right now, I am waiting on a final answer from Tein as to when the Hood Dampners will be released. It looks like it will be FEB 05, but I want to see if we as a group maybe able to change their minds...

These Hood Dampners are the easiest to install, they will work with the stock hood only as per Tein (they may work with other hoods, but may cause damage due to difference in weight, construction, etc). They only come in the Tein trademark green at this time.

We will keep a list going as to who is interested. If you are not, please do not sign up. As this will affect pricing. We need a true head count.
For those of you who are serious about the group buy please stay tuned. Thank you for your patience.

Wow, only 3 times the price of the Tein's, which seem to not be recommended for CF hoods. Looks like I'll buy a stick like the one above.

Yes, we can and will do better. The problem is that it is not listed on their price sheet for 2004. So I am waiting on what my pricing will be. I want to give you the right price.

Did I hear mention of whether or not these are carbon fiber hood safe? I've got a VIS hood on currently and I'd like a set of these dapeners, but are they alright for use with my CF hood? Thanks.

I'm interested in these. That'll work out nicely, timing-wise, since I should put in the factory order for my car in February

I would assume so, reason being that CF hoods weigh about the same as the stock aluminum one. Just my guess though.
