I had the same problem on the rear driverside. Idk what it was but for the life of me I couldn't get the bolt or nut loose. Pb blaster, impact gun, torch nothing worked. Ended up cutting the head off the bolt.

Ouch, did you cut it yourself? I think I would have to take it to a shop for that. Lucky me mine came right out with only an 18" breaker bar.

The bolt that holds the bottom of the strut. I didnt bring my tools that day and took it to a friends house. I broke 3 sockets and did the whole impact drill stuff, torch and whatnot. Didn't work. Bolt was stripped. Took it to my house and used my bolt extractor set. Came out in one try. That's when I learned to just use my tools from then on lol....you get what you pay for!

Got that right. I've been meaning to pick up an extractor set. But have been pretty good so far.

I had the same problem. Only my bold that connects to the knuckle was covered in undercoating and I though it was an 18mm when it was really a 17. Could have been bad.

The gain is marginal. The 08+ strut towers are a lot stronger than previous models. But if you can get it for $50 that's a great deal lol

Strut tower bars in modern cars are considered dress up items. Modern cars have very rigid structures, so there's really not that much flex at the towers or so I've read lol.

Short shifter, subframe bushings, end links, window visors, lug nuts, hybrid intake, gauges, foot well lights, shift knob, antennas, straight pipe, STICKERS, paint some stuff, engine mounts, pulley. Definitely more, but it's mainly what I've done so far

Tint would be alittle more expensive, the cheapest good quality I've seen are around $150.

I haven't noticed much of a difference, but you do notice more threshold in traction if you really push the suspension

Depends where you live if I go to Newark NJ(lots of tint shops)I can get my whole car done for $100 with a guaranteed no fading for 5 years. Its not the best quality film but they do a damn good job for $100.

I'm glad to pay more than $100-150 for tint WITHOUT going anywhere near Newark.

Thanks for the feedback on the front strut brace, i'll pass.

So, i'm really set on 17x9 wheels. I plan on droping my car on coil-overs. those of you with 17" wheels, should I do the +42 offset or lower?
What is our Centerbore size?
I assume worst case scenario; play it safe on offset and can always run spacers to bring me flush.

Thank you, pictures will help!
