Come on Sunday. I don't think I'll be the only one there this time.

anyone have any experience putting on 08+ STI or 11 WRX hatch trailer hitch? I just ordered one and unfortunately don't have any tools in the area as I just moved out here from the west coast. anyone with some tools/ramps willing to help out? I can buy some cases of beer or toss you some money.

I want to start riding out here!

FYI:
If you have a wagon:
A medium sized 26'er will fit in the back with the wheels on and the seats folded, take the front wheel and seat off and you can place it standing up on the drivers side with the 40% seat folded down. My medium sized 26'er FS will not fit in the back with the seats up even if I remove both wheels and the seat. I don't dare remove the seat on my road bike so I have to fold both seats down to get it in the back.

If you have a Sedan:
When I was car shopping, I did bring my bikes to test fit in an Impreza sedan (I think they look better). Both wheels off and both seats down was all that would work.

Extra info that probably has nothing to do with the OP issues:
I have the Subaru roof rack with my old VW/Thule bike rails. I would NOT recommend buying the Subaru rack for the Impreza. The crossbars are very springy if you want to carry a couple of kayaks or some 4x4s from home depot. Buy a Thule or Yakima. The rails on my wife's Outback are much beefier.

I'll be up there on Sunday with a few regulars and people from another Subie forum. Sunday's only supposed to have a high of 83 deg.

Rode Killington the weekend before last... some of the trails have been re-worked and made to flow a little more. Not as smooth as Highland, but it was a nice change of pace from the rooty & rocky madness each run tends to turn into. It was the same weekend as the World Cup over at Windham so the mountain was empty.

I've got a chain tool but left everything else on the west coast obviously won't help much without the others

Aaron Gwin in new rolling stone!

The opening sentence was cool. "The last time anyone cared about downhill mountain bike racing was 1999"

F**k you pal!

If maatttttt cannot help you out, I have all the tools needed. I am in Burlington, Ma. I'll be out most of the day tomorrow, but let me know if after biz hours sometime next week works.

I can do most bottom brackets and press and remove headsets and crown races as well if anyone else needs anything.

Well, I just picked up an old SPecialized FSR Elite full suspension bike off a friend of mine... so I figured I'd finally subscribe to this thread. I've been trying to get back into riding for a couple years but with none of my friends in the area riding.... I never bit the bullet and got a bike. I'll be interested to see how I do the first couple times getting accustom to a pedal bike again. Regardless, we'll see whats going on around NESIC with you guys and once i get the ball rolling again... maybe i'll do some meet ups and rides and stuff. Take it easy guys and see ya on the trails.

Crap I forgot that was this weekend, I wanted to go but already have other plans. Anyone on here up at highland last weekend? Saw a black bugeye with some gold stickers, another black wrx parked next to me sunday (i was in a tan honda pilot) and chilled with the guy with the wrb sti forester (forgot your name tho). That place is running sweet right now minus some dust n bumps.

And here is a short little pov video of a portion of trail I like in foxboro state forest to keep the thread interesting. Nothing crazy just kind of cruising around.
