I emailed subispeed, subie Bros and One other site which I forgot and all three told me they didn't have any plans to make these for the 18. So if you're looking for these in the near future JDM is the only way to go. $$$

Thanks for the information, that is helpful! And also disappointing... i would go JDM if it had the switchback capability. I need the turn signal function there.

What are you doing? Are you converting to a 2018 bumper-cover?
I looked and found only two types of the 2018-2019 LED bezel: without and with fog-lamps. If no one is producing a switch-back version, it may be a result of overall sales of the same for the 2015-2017 models? Meaning not-so-great sales and so there is no push to make them for the 2018-2019 models. |

Yes exactly. I already converted to the 2018 bumper. I would love to eliminate the turn signal and replace with the switchback LED strip for a cleaner look. But I think you may be right, probably not enough demand for them to produce it right now. |

I think you also understood, but I will state for clarity for others, that there are no third or fourth options of without fog-lamp and with turn-signal or with fog-lamp and with turn-signal.
I have a few more thoughts: Buy the JDM LED bezel with the fog-lamp opening for the WRX and use the fog-lamp as the turn-signal. I am trying however to figure-out which bulb to use to do so. A DRL style bulb may not be bright enough. A headlamp LED bulb would be bright, too bright. Another thought was to buy the JDM LED bezel w/o the fog-lamp opening for the STI and attach an LED lamp where the turn-signal would be. The problem is finding a lamp that is sleek and not bulky and when mounted does not look like it was a quick-and-dirty; you want an OEM type of look as if it were meant to be there. Possibly: https://www.superbrightleds.com/more...onnector/1982/ Or perhaps the JDM LED bezel with or without the fog-lamp opening and you use a Dremel or similar tool to cut out some of the flat panels between the hexagonal webbing where the turn-signal would be and then see if the OEM turn-signal lamp could be used behind the bezel or use an aftermarket LED lamp behind the bezel where the turn-signal would be. Use the JDM LED bezel LED as the turn-signal? Find someone that can provide a switch-back module so that the LED operates as both? |

Your only option currently for a turn signal delete would be a switchback c-light.
I've also switched over to the 2018 bumper and would have loved to use the STi bezels and delete both the fogs and turn signals. But I don't have turn signals in my 2016 LED headlights. I prefer OEM, so I haven't messed with anything and don't plan to. Not yet at least. |
