My best 1/8th in the wagon was 107.Xx @ 33-34psi on the stock. Went 6.8-7 1/8th, I should have just went a full out pass.. lol then I broke the clutch clip.

Im at a cross road here. I really want to quit while I'm ahead and just race my white GC... In the same breath I would love a low 10s pass @136+MPH with it.

What do you guys think?

My GC is simple
Head Games Heads w/GSCs
Drop in pistons with P&L pump
P&L Rotated with 6266-6466(undecided)
07 Gear Box
CM clutch/fly
Drive line is all 06 STI
Cobb AP SD
Twin Pumps
P&L Fuel system w/1600s
P&L FMIC

Would like to go some 9.8s in it and get into the mid 10s on 93.

I'm actually very picky when I tune cars with big setups.
Certain cars I wont touch because I know they will be wrong, broken, etc.. It is a reflection on me and I rather keep a good rep then try and make a few bucks.

On a ****ty note, we lost the s2k 2JZ's today. Hit the wall pretty hard at the 330 and bend the frame/4link/wheelie bars etc. The team did pretty good over all though with the fast car going 7.4s@185+

That GC should get the vf52; I expect that to smooth out the question of fastest stock turbo

Its totaled... sort of..

It is coming back in about a month, 3/4 chassis and a very built 2jz 3.4ltr on 2 stages this time though

They are also finally starting my CF GC8. We decided on a big tire stock wheel base setup with a 25.5 chassis.

First pass in eliminations. We made a few passes over the weekend and about 6 during the week. Sucks because we finally had the first half meshing with the back end of the track

do u have a vid of the wreck run? wheelie bar looked kind of too high, in the earlier vid, didn't see it touch the ground actually, if i'm not mistaken. Possibly got uneven contact on the crash run?

I still haven't seen an awd car hit the wall at the strip..that's why carmi don't rwd,
even though I know it's faster. Good luck with the rebuild, duder. Doesn't
get more scary than a light s2k and almost unlimited hp window.

That's a bummer for sure. That thing looked insane and pretty dialed, I'm sure there was a ton of work in it. Using the block and many other parts besides the chassis?

Is this the same GC8 you were building before or a different car altogether?

Can you work with me on the XTI? I know you're super busy this time of the year with work and racing, I just need a little input from you on the questions I emailed you.
Happy 4th! and to anyone here!!

He's lucky it happened early on during the run..

I really wish they did a better job making the track sticky !

Well the wagon is in the hands of Nightshift Performance. Roman said he will have the GC and XT both ready for the shootout and I am holding him to it! Hopefully I get to make a full pass this year and get booted!

Yep, the GC is still mine... I am starting to want to swap the white GC into my Carbon one. Since the s2k is being rebuilt, my GC is on the back burner. I think I wanna just make it a semi normal car again. Then sell the white GC shell with the STI harness and stuff.

Na, just a cage really.. That is what makes in not "streetable" to some people. It has heat/radio etc.. Just no AC

Thanks now you got me interested....
If you can since I know you are a busy dude.
How do I go about getting a clutch setup like made? Hows the pedal effort on it and whats the price range of that type of setup?

What did you have done to the XTI, new motor? Did you install the 6266 also?

MY XTI will hopefully be done in a couple weeks

Yep just a drop in piston motor with my headgames heads now. The old motor met its maker after my alt died doing a pull. Car went like 14.0afr before I noticed it... If it wasn't for the fact that the car was a lot of boost it probably would have been ok, but one the Manley pistons lifting a ring land.

As for the turbo, another 62 will be going on it.

Good stuff! Cant wait to see the new setup

That sucks, ****ty way to loose a motor, to a frickin alternator

Same 6266 or a different 62? Can't wait to see what the new setup does, maybe we can rendezvous in Chi-town for some racing this fall?

My MPS LR 2.5 short block is in route to Detroit now arriving Friday

Decided to keep the stock location setup with all i just did to the KB custom up-pipe and EWG. Blouch gave me a killer deal on the new Dom 3.5xtr, 3" CH and keeping the ETS TMIC, so spool should be very good. I've got a Supertrapp tunable muffler on the dump tube to be even more stealth with a v-band to run it open at the track
Ciao!

Your not kidding, it was ****ty.. I just cant get how my stock motor dealt with some much crap

Its a different 62 now, I don't even know the exact exhaust wheel combo. I also have a GTX to throw on if I want to compare.

To be honest I have not even been showing either of the 2 cars much love. After it wasn't ready last week I was kinda like "f' it" and started playing more with the GTR.

Your setup sounds like a killer one. I cant wait to see the power band it will produce. A lot of good stuff going on in that engine bay!!!

Here are a few GTR pics from the shootout. Al Norris Photography kicks ASS!
