Default Another FAST pump + meth 35r car 11.3@126, 128.7 best mph

Took a customers car to the track yesterday. Track temps were 94 degrees. Not exactly good for racing, but we decided to give her a go anyway.

Mods
Weisco drop ins
08 STI Oil Pump
SMC Meth kit
DW 1100cc Injectors
Perrin EL Headers
Cosworth Cams on Stock heads
ACT clutch + Street light flywheel
Custom FMIC
UR 35r .82 kit
Walbro pump
GReddy SP2

Got 5 runs in. 3 were 1/8th passes all 7.30-7.10s @ 99-101 mph. I made 2 full passes, 11.4 and 11.3 with a best MPH of 128.7. Couldn't really shift 5th hard because its an 04 STI 6spd, and the synchros are shot... but I tried my best. 60fts were in the high 1.7s low 1.8s due to the bald all seasons.. The car was really not ready for the track, but we were bored and figured what the hell.

11.3@126mph, best MPH 128.7

Today I threw the car on the dyno to see what power level it was at before I switched to the AEM EMS.

After tuning we ended up with this.

We are swapping out the 04 6spd with the a new Ralli Spec taller ratio 6spd and drag radials as well. Hope to be back at the track Wednesday getting kicked out!

I think 5th gear is still at that track... I basically let the thing go to an idle before shifting...

Syncros are for sissys anyways. Just smash it!!!

Thats why I always loved driving the STi stock... You could do that, AND still drive home! With a car running 129mph... prolly not so much . . .

Haha, sounds like my 2nd gear syncros. Grinds half the time, always goes in, so **** it until it doesn't go in anymore, it's fine

Impressive driving, impressive tuning. I saw these sheets in person last night, as Junior was finishing up the tuning touches on my own ride. (We'll cover that soon enough)

Nicely done. That kind of MPH sure is a convincing display of power.

Congrats to the owner!

Thats whats cool about these cars.. We drive all of them back home after the track.. Even the 10.4 06sti car was a street driver after the track passes.
They are so damn stout!

The cams really help keep up on the top end.

All I need is a clean pass! I've ran some really respectable times, with a boatload of excuses gonna try again this weekend with the crucial copper header gaskets and c16
