Post Pics from the TO auto show!

Howdy folks! Got back from the auto show today and it was pretty good, I saw my next car- a WRX WAGON, the sedan next to the wagon with the bodykit looks totally goofy by comparison with those chunky arches.

The wagon's lines and styling actually work well with the lights, and then there is that bodykit-

As you can see I like it very much.

I also snapped some pics of the new SE-R, as well as some mini shots (cool car), but I have yet to post those, for more pics check out www.toronto-subaru-club.com and click the link off the main page.

Wow, Canada gets the 17" Euro/Jap spec rims as standard, or an option? Nice to know we dont have to go far to get them! I think the US is getting that body kit for the wagon... It was on the Area-51 wagon in Florida. The aerodynamics kit for the sedan is a bit different, I know that (www.new-impreza.com has the pics of that)

You BETTER have some pics of that OBS and any other Non-wrx's there!

Sure, but they're in the background.

Those wheels were an option- they are about the same as the BBS option though, but you do get tires. Package for the wheels and P Zeros were about $4500 canadian, about $3gs USD.

The aero kit is about $1200 US, that's for the painted sideskirts, lip, rear diffuser and dual spoilers. So not too bad as far as DI options go.

This wagon also had the gauge pack, which is kinda goofy looking, I'll take the STI unit over it. Funny thing, the doors were locked but the tailgate was unlocked, I got to crawl in for a closer inspection. Interior doesn't have any other bits other than what is standard. But the new interiors, especially on the wagon, are very nice, and MUCH better for rear seat passengers.

I went to the auto show today, pretty dry, except for seeing the WRX made it worth while, that car looks so much better in person than in pics. I want one! Pat Richards' car looked pretty nice too. One thing disappointing was that Nissan didn't have the new Z there yet cause it's in Chicago.

Hehe, Gambit I saw that GM show, was jokes, a couple of those guys on the stage were definitely "heterosexually challenged" (a word out of Maui's dictionary). Did you guys see that Borejo or whatever it's called? Was it there, cause I missed it if it was there (not that I really looked).
