If you REALLY need good rain performance, get 452's. They are excellent in the rain. If I had to recommend a tire at this point, I'd say 452's, but only because I don't have enough milesin the ss595's to recommend them, they aren't even through wearing off the grease yet. I KNOW the 452's are good in nearly every condition, and US prefer's them to the V12, which you've used.
The s595 feels very compliant and squirmy. I checked air pressure, and they are at 37psi. Max psi is 37, very low. Of course many great tires feel soft and squirmy at first, so I'll reserve judgement. 451's took 1000 miles or so to cure.

and that may be too much pressure
different tires like different pressures....try lower first
